Posted by Chris Roush

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a talented digital editor to manage WSJ.com editions during the EMEA business day.

The editor will focus on presenting the top stories of the day to drive maximum reader engagement through appropriate positioning, layout and optimal deployment of inline links, SEO-friendly headlines and summaries, visuals, alerts and other tools.

For this senior role, based in our new London newsroom, we’re seeking someone with finely-tuned news judgment, a strong eye for detail and the ability to work at speed in a real-time news environment.

The editor will be expected to make full use of reader engagement measures to help inform digital presentation going forward. The job holder will be a key advocate of digital strategy in the newsroom, working closely with colleagues locally, in European bureaus, and with our regional centers in New York and Hong Kong.
