Wired redesignLauren Goodman has joined Wired in the new role of contributing style director.

“At Wired, we are always looking at how innovation and design are changing our lives,” said editor in chief Scott Dadich. “From the rise of wearables and the future of retail, to the migration of street style to social platforms, the convergence of fashion and technology is one of the most exciting developments taking place right now. And there’s no better person to help us navigate this emerging space than Lauren.”

Goodman, who brings more than 15 years of experience in fashion and luxury editorial in both print and digital publications, was the commissioning fashion editor for LVMH content site, NOWNESS, at its launch in 2010. Previously, she has held roles at Condé Nast Traveler, Style.com, VanityFair.com, and the Wall Street Journal, where she helped launch the popular “Off Duty” section.

As contributing style director, Goodman will focus on the intersection of fashion and technology across all Wired platforms, including print, Wired.com, video, social media, and event extensions.

Goodman’s appointment is effective immediately, and she will split her time between Wired offices in San Francisco and New York.
