The two senior managers are Peter Stanton and Joe Zwiebel. The sale is expected to close March 31, 2007. The former owner of the publications is Worcester Publishing, which is principally owned by Allen Fletcher, and will continue to publish Worcester Magazine.
A short story stated, “The new company will be called New England Business Media LLC. Stanton will serve as CEO, and Zwiebel will serve as executive vice president and group publisher. The parties have been working to complete the transaction since late last fall.
“‘This enables me to focus on a single publication,’ says Fletcher. ‘I am deeply pleased to be able to pass the business journals on to Peter and Joe, who have been involved in them for all of our 17 years. They are fine publications, and they will be in good hands.'”
