Money’s Rosato hired by Consumer Reports

Donna RosatoDonna Rosato, a senior writer at Money magazine, has been hired by Consumer Reports as a senior editor.

As a senior writer at Money, Rosato wrote about the financial challenges facing retirees today and strategies for career advancement. She has also appeared on TV to discuss personal finance issues on “CBS This Morning,” “The Today Show,” CNN, “Nightly Business Report,” NY1, MSNBC and CNBC.

Prior to joining Money, she wrote for the New York Times, Smart Money and worked at USA Today in Washington for 10 years, covering the airline industry, business travel and financial markets.

While at USA Today, she received a Exceptional Merit Media Award for a series on the sexual harassment of female air traffic controllers., which led to congressional hearings and an initiative by the FAA’s first female administrator, Jane Garvey, to stamp out harassment in FAA control towers and reform the EEOC claims process.

She graduated from Northeastern University in Boston and has a Master’s in Journalism from Columbia University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
