Bloomberg Media launched Wednesday a website in India.
The site includes an expanded suite of premium on-demand content. Offerings include “Emerging,” a new podcast co-hosted by Menaka Doshi and Bloomberg Television anchor and editor-at-large Haslinda Amin. Other content includes localized, expanded wealth-building guides, such as the new “How to Retire Rich in India” and “Where to Invest 1 Crore Rupees.”
In October, Bloomberg India will also feature comprehensive coverage of the Bloomberg New Economy Forum as it makes its debut in New Delhi, bringing together more than 500 global leaders.
“India’s business community is among the most tech-forward and market-savvy in the world, requiring credible, timely data and reporting that keeps pace with its ambition,” said Tushar Banerjee, digital managing editor, India at Bloomberg News, in a statement. “With Bloomberg India, we’re putting powerful tools and world-class reporting directly at our readers’ fingertips, and I look forward to collaborating across our newsrooms to deliver the content this dynamic audience needs to lead.”
India has grown to become Bloomberg.com’s second-largest market. The company has more than 50 journalists in bureaus across the country.
