Fox Business posts highest monthly ratings ever

Fox BusinessFox Business Network recorded its highest-rated month ever in November.

The channel pulled in 162,000 total viewers and 36,000 in the key 25-54 age demographic, for the month, according to Nielsen data, an increase of more than 200 percent compared to 2014.

Showing year-to-year growth for the past six consecutive months, the channel’s ratings during the business day also saw a double-digit increase with 96,000 total viewers and 14,000 in the demo for November.

The network’s strong performance was led by the channel’s first-ever presidential debate, which took place Nov. 10 and scored a record breaking 13.5 million total viewers and 3.7 million in the demo.

For primetime, Fox Business earned its highest-rated month ever with 497,000 total viewers and 131,000 in the demo.

In addition to the debate, the channel’s original primetime series “Strange Inheritance” debuted its second season on Nov. 11 and marked its highest-rated month ever. Hosted by Jamie Colby, the series saw its ratings increase by 71 percent in the key 25-54 demo and 34 percent in total viewers for season two compared with last season.
