The Washington Post has hired Julie Yoon as a breaking news video editor for the Seoul hub.
She starts August 16.
Yoon joins from BBC, where she has worked for close to three years, most recently as a multimedia broadcast journalist. Before that, she was a video editor at HuffPost.
Yoon was also a global news general assignment intern at The Associated Press.
Yoon graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in media, culture and communication.
