Julia Wong has joined CBC News as a national reporter. She comes from Global, where she recently served as a digital broadcast journalist, reporting on the pandemic news in Alberta.
Prior to joining Global in 2013, she was a video journalist at CHBC News in Kelowna, BC. She was also a reporter/producer at WBKO in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and has reported for Torrance Citicable in Los Angeles, California.
She also worked at Annenberg Television News.
Wong has a B.A. in communication and journalism from the University of Southern California.
