Williams named host of All Things Considered

Janaya Williams

Janaya Williams will be joining KCRW, a NPR member station, as the new host of NPR’s flagship news program, All Things Considered. She will be based in Los Angeles.

She begins next month.

Recently, she has been working as a producer of All Things Considered in Washington, D.C. Before that, she served as an associate producer. She previously worked at NPR from July 2003 to March 2009 as a production assistant, assistant producer and digital producer.

She has also worked at WNYC Radio for over 2 years in various roles, including as culture reporter. She has also worked at The Washington Post.

Williams has a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and a M.S. from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
