The Washington Post has promoted Claire Parker to the post of staff writer for foreign. She was previously an assistant editor for The Post’s Today’s Worldview newsletter, where she wrote about foreign affairs.
She has also interned at The Post and the Boston Globe.
She was an assistant editor at Inside Iraqi Politics and has also worked freelance. She was also an Overseas Press Club fellow at The Associated Press and served as a Washington D.C. reporting fellow at the Texas Tribune.
Parker graduated from Harvard University, where she also worked at the student paper.
