Michael Brice-Saddler will be joining Washington Post’s metro desk covering government and politics.
In his new role, Brice-Saddler will join Fenit Nirappil on the D.C. politics beat beginning July 27.
Brice-Saddler joined the Post in 2018 as an intern covering cops and courts. Later on, he moved to the general assignment desk covering national news for the publication.
Previously, Brice-Saddler was with The Diamondback where he served as an assistant news editor and then as senior staff writer. He has also worked as a reporter at Capital News Service and was a metro reporting intern at The Baltimore Sun.
In addition, Brice-Saddler has also interned at SB Nation, Vice Media and Street Sense.
Brice-Saddler graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in multiplatform journalism and also earned a Society of Professional Journalists award for his work on The Diamondback.
