The Washington Post has tapped Drew Goins as assistant editor for op-eds.
Previously, Goins held the post of assistant editor. Before that, he has worked as a digital opinions producer and as a multiplatform editor.
He also served as an assistant copy editor, then as a copy chief and then as senior writer at The Daily Tar Heel, student newspaper of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Additionally, he has also held editorial internships at the U.S. Department of Education and the Virginian-Pilot.
Goins is a B.A. in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
