Washington Post hires Edwards as staff writer

Jonathan Edwards

Jonathan Edwards is joining The Washington Post Morning Mix as a staff writer.

His new role begins Jul. 6.

Previously, Edwards was a reporter at The Virginian-Pilot which he left after taking a buyout. Before that, he was a news reporter at the Lincoln Journal Star.

He has also reported for the Appeal-Democrat, and was a staff writer and then online editor at The Davis Enterprise. He was also a staff writer at The Daily Republic.

Edwards was a Livingston Awards for Young Journalists finalist in 2018.

Edwards  is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
