The Washington Post has hired Hari Raj as a multiplatform editor in its Seoul hub. Raj joins from the South China Morning Post, where he has been for 4 years, most recently serving as deputy chief production editor for Asia.
Raj has been a journalist for more than 2 decades, with stints as an editor and reporter in Hong Kong, Melbourne, Beijing, and Kuala Lumpur. He has also worked for various magazines in Australia and has also written business features and was part of an award-winning team of columnists at the Star in Malaysia.
Raj graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne.
