Sophia Smith Galer is now a senior news reporter, covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Vice World News.
She joins from the BBC, where she worked as a social media producer, visual journalist and, most recently, as a presenter in a freelance capacity. She has also interned at NBC News. She was also co-host at Beirut Banter.
Galer is a M.A. in broadcast journalism from City, University of London.
