Ron Judd, Sunday magazine writer at The Seattle Times is leaving after more than 32 years, to develop, lead and write a regular column for a new locally owned news publication in Bellingham, WA.
Judd has held various other roles at The Times, including staff reporter, columnist, news and sports columnist, beat writer, Olympics reporter, outdoors reporter, and investigative reporter.
He also taught at Western Washington University.
His work has also appeared in The Charlotte Observer, News & Observer, The Sun News, The State and more.
Judd graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
