Vermont News & Media has named Noah Hoffenberg as its executive editor.
Previously, Hoffenberg worked at the Berkshire Eagle as its sponsored content, web and social media editor. He was also editor at the Barnstable Patriot, and served as a night editor at the Cape Cod Times.
He has also held editorial roles at the Amherst Bulletin, the now-defunct North Adams Transcript and its then-sister paper to the north, the Bennington Banner.
He has also bagged numerous awards for his teams and himself in online and print news.
Hoffenberg has a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and a M.F.A. from Antioch University – Los Angeles.
