Jackie Borchardt, Ohio bureau chief at Gannett | USA Today, has left to join the Enquirer in Columbus, Ohio as senior news director for content. She was previously Columbus bureau chief for the Enquirer and Cincinnati.com.
She has also worked as a politics and government reporter at Cleveland.com and was a statehouse reporter at Dayton Daily News. She was also an education reporter at Casper Star-Tribune in Casper, Wyoming, and a reporter and city editor at Columbia Missourian.
She also interned at The Denver Post.
Borchardt has a B.A. in English and Spanish from the University of Rochester and a M.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
