Nathaniel Shuda, a veteran journalist who has led the Oshkosh Northwestern since 2017, will take on the additional role of editor of The Fond du Lac Reporter.
Shuda has worked for USA Today Network-Wisconsin for 13 years, first as a local government and business reporter for the Daily Tribune in his hometown of Wisconsin Rapids. He joined the Oshkosh Northwestern in 2014 as an education and investigative reporter, moving to the local government beat a year later. He became editor in 2017.
Taima Kern, editor of The Reporter since 2016, is moving into a new role at The Post-Crescent in Appleton leading a team of regional business reporters, said Jim Fitzhenry, executive editor of the USA Today Network-Central Wisconsin.
Besides her role at The Reporter, Kern has also led the network’s non-daily publications, including Action Publications, the Door County Advocate and Oconto County Reporter.
Kevin Dittman, a veteran journalist and digital producer, will move into a new role overseeing night news operations and non-daily publications.
