Thomson Reuters is launching a $100 million venture capital fund, “Thomson Reuters Ventures” to invest in early-stage companies that serves professionals in the legal, tax and accounting, and news media business.
The fund is part of the CEO Steve Hasker’s plan to transform the news agency into a “content-driven technology business.”
Reuters chief strategy officer Pat Wilburn will served as executive director of the fund.
