Malcom Thomas has joined MSNBC as an associate producer.
He comes from CNN where he worked as a production assistant and then as an editorial producer covering politics, shutdowns and more.
He has also interned at KEYE-TV, a CBS/Telemundo-affiliated television station operating in Austin, Texas.
Thomas is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
