The Transcript hires Bryan as news editor

Max Bryan

The Norman Transcript has tapped Max Bryan as a news editor.

Bryan joins from the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, where he was a city government and economy reporter. He has also served as a breaking news and crime reporter, and then as a city government and economy reporter at Times Record.

He has also taught reporting techniques, the ethics of journalism and news at Future School of Fort Smith. He was also a tourism and business reporter at The Sentinel-Record.

Bryan graduated from John Brown University.
