The Times taps Probert as assistant news editor

Lauren Probert

The Times in London has hired Lauren Probert as an assistant news editor.

She joins from The i Paper, where she recently served as a breaking news editor. Before that, she was an assistant news editor. She has also worked as a news reporter at The Sun, News UK, and assisted the news desk for The Sun and the Sun on Sunday, News UK.

She has also reported for Caters, an international news, picture and video agency. and has also worked at the Gloucestershire Echo and Citizen newspapers.

Probert graduated from Cardiff University.
