The Northern Echo taps Bellis as senior Teeside reporter

Richard Bellis is now a senior Teeside reporter at The Northern Echo. Previously, he held the post of community reporter.

Before that, Bellis was a radio presenter at Spark Sunderland and has also contributed to Northern Lights.

Additionally, he has also worked at Sun FM, Tesside Live, ITV, Southside Broadcasting Limited and BBC Tees.

Bellis has also interned at The Overtake.

Bellis is a graduate of the University of Sunderland with a degree in broadcast journalism.
