The Guardian taps Butler on the political team

Josh Butler

Josh Butler will be joining The Guardian Australia on the political team. He comes from The New Daily, where he was a political editor.

He was also a senior journalist at Network 10 in Australia and has served as an associate editor, acting politics editor and editor at HuffPost. He was a UN correspondent at Inter Press Service in New York and a staff writer at Daily 49er in Long Beach, California.

Butler graduated from the University of Wollongong.
