Lukas Weese has joined The Athletic as an associate editor for news.
Previously, he was working freelance and as a contributor at the Toronto Star, Sportsnet, ESPN, USA Today, Complex Networks, Yahoo Sports, GOLF Magazine/GOLF.com and LastWordOnSports.com.
He was also a production assistant at CBC.
Weese graduated from the University of Toronto – University of Trinity College.
