Jessica Weaver, creative director for live events at Texas Tribune, is set to leave.
Weaver has been with the Tribune for over 6 years.
In 2014, she joined as a Texas Tribune festival coordinator. She then left to work as an outreach coordinator at The University of Texas at Austin.
She re-joined the company in 2015 as an events manager. Since then, she has served as an assistant director of events and programming and director of events and programming.
Weaver has also been featured in The Washington Post, Newsday, The Root and more.
Weaver is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin.
