Suleymanov departs NY Post for Newsweek

Mark Suleymanov will be joining Newsweek as a news editor.

Most recently, he was a digital producer/reporter at the New York Post. Before that, he held the post of editorial assistant.

Suleymanov has also interned and freelanced for Perform Media. He has also written for Hoops Rumors, SB Nation, The Inquisitr News, ReviewFix.com, FanSided and Baseball Essential.

He was also an intern at Don Buchwald & Associates, Inc and has served as NBA reporter at GiveMeSport.

He has also interned at MSG Networks Inc. and was a general assignment reporter at Brooklyn News Service.

Suleymanov was also a beat reporter at Scout Media Network and a sports editor at The Excelsior.

He has also edited for VAVEL.com.

Suleymanov holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from City University of New York – Brooklyn College.
