Lauren Strapagiel has joined Shopify as a senior writer.
Strapagiel joins from BuzzFeed News, where she has been for over 6 years, most recently serving as a senior reporter. Previously, she has held the posts of social news editor, Canada; managing editor, Canada; and breaking reporter.
She was also a web producer at the National Post and a news editor at Postmedia Network Inc. She has also worked at AOL Canada and The Eyeopener, Ryerson’s weekly independent student newspaper.
Strapagiel graduated from Ryerson University.
