Sleigh to join HuffPost as deputy political editor

Sophia Sleigh will be joining HuffPost UK as a deputy political editor.

Her new role begins September 6.

Sleigh joins from the Evening Standard, where she recently served as a political correspondent. Before that, she held the posts of news reporter, City Hall reporter, and political reporter. She has also reviewed newspapers at Times Radio.

She has also reported for the Daily Mirror and Newsquest, and has interned at Express Newspapers, Current Publishing, and Immediate Media Co.

Sleigh graduated from тхе London School of Economics and Political Science.
