Signal Al appoints Childs to post of chief product officer

Signal Al has tapped Clancy Childs as its new chief product officer. In this role, Childs will lead the company’s “product suite vision as the company expands into new markets and applies its pioneering technology to further customer use-cases as part of its mission to transform business decision making through trainable AI.”

Previously, Childs worked at Dow Jones, spending the past six years with the company. He joined as chief data officer and SVP technology for professional information. He then served as chief product and technology officer, knowledge enablement business unit, and recently held the post of SVP and general manager, knowledge enablement business unit.

He is also a founding partner at Inderus, which helps businesses build their data strategies and infrastructure.

Additionally, Childs has also worked at Google for more than six years, joining as senior sales engineer, and then serving as manager, Google Analytics. He also held the post of product manager, Google Analytics at the tech company.

Childs has also worked as director information technology at McGraw Communications for three years.

Childs is an MBA from London Business School.
