Seattle Times names Nguyen as digital producer

Ryan Nguyen

Ryan Nguyen will be joining the Seattle Times as a digital producer.

His new role begins in August.

Currently, he is a reporting intern at the Wall Street Journal.

He was also a news reporter, podcast desk editor and a senior news reporter at the Group.  He also attended a five-day business journalism education program to learn about reporting strategies, economic fundamentals at Bloomberg.

He has interned at The Oregonian. He has also served as a student reporter at the paper. He has also worked at KWVA Eugene, 88.1 FM.

He was a news reporting intern at Eugene Weekly and a reporter and web designer at Flux Stories.

Nguyen has a B.A. in journalism and history from University of Oregon, where he worked at the student newspaper.
