He has interned at The Oregonian. He has also served as a student reporter at the paper. He has also worked at KWVA Eugene, 88.1 FM.
He was a news reporting intern at Eugene Weekly and a reporter and web designer at Flux Stories.
Nguyen has a B.A. in journalism and history from University of Oregon, where he worked at the student newspaper.
