Sandra Santos has joined the San Antonio Report as its audience editor. Santos brings a 30-year career in journalism to the newsroom.
She has worked freelance and was night metro editor at the San Antonio Express-News for over 7 years. Before that, she served as a community producer and night metro editor again. She was also with the Houston Chronicle for 3 years, where she worked as a night online news editor.
She has also held various roles at the Austin American-Statesman, where she worked for 13 years.
Santos graduated from the University of Houston.
