Salt Lake Tribune reporter Stevens departs

The Salt Lake Tribune state government reporter Taylor Stevens will be leaving and moving to Phoenix, where she will be pursuing a master’s in investigative journalism at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.

Previously, she has held the post of city and county government and politics reporter. She has also interned at the Tribune.

Stevens has also worked at CaptionCall and interned at KTXV/KUCW. She was also a community government reporter at The City Journals.

She was named the Society of Professional Journalist’s Best Newspaper Reporter in 2019.

Stevens is a B.A. in communication and journalism from Westminster College, where she also worked at the school’s student-run news organization.
