Rick Rouan has joined USA Today’s breaking news team covering politics.
Previously, he held the post of fact checker.
Rouan has also served as a transportation reporter, City Hall reporter and then as a politics reporter at Dispatch Media Group. He was also a web coordinator and has covered banks, insurance companies, capital markets, transit, airports, logistics and nonprofits for Columbus Business First.
He has also reported for Gannett and Chicago Tribune Media Group.
Rouan has a B.S. in journalism from Ohio University.
