Emily Kopp will be joining U.S. Right to Know, a nonprofit organization focusing on transparency in America’s food and health system, as a reporter.
She comes from CQ Roll Call, where she was a health care reporter covering the pandemic and Capitol Hill. Prior to this, she covered cannabis legislation on the state and federal levels.
She has also worked as a web producer and reporter at Kaiser Health News, with her work appearing in The Washington Post, NPR, the Huffington Post, Daily Beast, USA Today, and the Miami Herald.
Kopp was also a web producer for Politico Pro, a data researcher for a health care trade publication, and an intern at OpenSecrets.
Kopp is a University of Georgia graduate.
