Role change for NBC’s Jones

Tom Jones

After almost 8 years of covering San Diego for NBC, Tom Jones will be moving to NBC Chicago.

During his time at NBC San Diego, Jones has served as an assignment editor, executive investigative producer and most recently as an investigative producer.

Before NBC, he was an assignment editor at KUSI Television.

He was also a content manager at KION NewsChannel 5 and an assignment editor/web manager and video editor at KCOY/KKFX.

Jones is also a 4x Regional Edward R. Murrow Award recipient, 4x Emmy Award winner and a Golden Mic recipient.

Jones is a graduate of Allan Hancock College.
