Red Ventures hires Obias as commerce entertainment editor

Rudie Obias

Rudie Obias has joined Red Ventures, which owns publications including CNET, The Points Guy, Healthline Media, Bankrate, TV Guide and more, as commerce entertainment editor. He comes from Yahoo, where he served as commerce tech editor.

He was also a commerce writer at Mashable and a digital writer at Mental Floss in New York. He has also worked freelance for outlets in New York, including Moviepilot Inc., Screen Rant, UPROXX Media, CINEMABLEND, Shockya.com and Northside Media.

Obias has a B.A. in journalism from Cleveland State University.
