Reach hires Coady-Stemp as local democracy reporter

Emily Coady-Stemp has joined Surrey Live, Reach plc, as a local democracy reporter, covering news from the Guildford, Elmbridge, Epsom & Ewell, Mole Valley, Reigate & Banstead, and Tandridge councils.

Recently, she was deputy editor at South West Londoner for the past 3 years. Before that, she was a trainee at News Associates/Sportsbeat, where she received her gold standard NCTJ diploma in multimedia journalism and was the winner of the 2017-18 Facebook prize for best performance nationally in production journalism exam.

Coady-Stemp earned her master’s degree from the University of Manchester.
