Prospect Magazine has promoted Emily Lawford to the post of assistant editor. Previously, she served as an editorial assistant.

Lawford has also worked as a diary reporter and then as a news reporter in a freelance capacity for the Evening Standard. She has also freelanced for PoliticsHome.

Lawford has also worked at The i Paper, The Times, The Mail on Sunday, The Sunday Times, The Telegraph, and The Observer, She has also edited for The Tab.

Lawford has a M.A. in newspaper journalism from City, University of London.
