Politico has hired Jonathan Lemire as White House bureau chief. Additionally, he will also be the host of MSNBC’s “Way Too Early.”
He begins in November.
Lemire joins from The Associated Press, where he served as a political reporter, and recently as a White House reporter. In addition to working at AP, he is also a political analyst at MSNBC and NBC News. He has also reported for the New York Daily News.
Lemire graduated from Columbia University in New York.
Maxwell Tani, media reporter at The Daily Beast, will join the West Wing Playbook.
He joins in December.
He was previously a reporter at Business Insider, and has interned at The Huffington Post and Slate magazine.
Tani graduated from American University.
