Andres Picon will be joining the San Francisco Chronicle’s breaking news team. Currently, he is an education reporter at the San Antonio Express-News.
He has also worked as a metro correspondent and then as a research assistant at Boston Globe Media. He was also part of the New York Times Student Journalism Institute.
He has also interned at MSNBC and has freelanced for The Rivertowns Enterprise.
Picon has a B.S. in journalism from Boston University, where he also worked at the student newspaper.
