Ray Stern, news editor at the Phoenix New Times, will be leaving. Stern has been with the Times for 15 years, and has previously served as a staff writer.
Before that, he was working in print and sales for Temple Daily News and then as a print and sales representative for Phoenix New Times. Later, he became a reporter/editor and then served as a reporter/writer before holding the post of assistant city editor at the Scottsdale Tribune.
Stern has won various awards, including the Arizona Press Club’s Don Bolles Award for Investigative Journalism.
Stern has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Arizona State University.
