Patel joins the Daily Beast as editor for science and innovation

Neel Patel

Neel Patel, a space reporter at MIT Technology Review, has left to take up the role of senior editor, science and innovation at The Daily Beast.

Patel has also worked as a freelance science and tech journalist. He has also worked as a staff writer and then as an associate editor at Inverse.com. He was also an editorial fellow at Wired and was a blog editor at Scienceline.

Patel also interned at IEEE Spectrum and Popular Science.

Patel has a M.A. in journalism from New York University.
