Sarah Bures, editor of New York Times Open, has left. In this role, she transformed NYT Open from an engineering blog to a column about how The New York Times designs and builds digital products for news.
Bures had been with The Times for close to 10 years, previously also serving as a news app developer and web developer.
She has also worked freelance for over 6 years, and was a program coordinator on contract at Penumbra Foundation. She has also interned at Thirteen/WNET.
Bures is a graduate of The New School.
