NY Times names Felder international live editor

Tess Felder

The New York Times has appointed Tess Felder as an international live editor as part of The Times’ ongoing expansion of its news team in London.

Felder previously worked on the International desk for four years. She arrived in London in 2019, and has been part of the SWAT editing team, while also writing daily updates on Times style.

She worked as a copy editor at The Greensboro News & Record and was also a features copy desk chief/copy editor at The Palm Beach Post. She was also a senior journalist at Kilkenny People.

Felder has a M.A. in journalism from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
