The New York Times has appointed Irene Noguchi as executive producer of opinion audio. Currently, she is head of audio and executive producer of podcasts at Politico.
She was also an executive producer at Vox.com and has worked at KQED in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has also worked as a producer/reporter and then as a radio show producer at KNPR Nevada Public Radio.
Noguchi graduated from Stanford University.
