NY Times appoints Suh education editor

Mary Suh

The New York Times has named Mary Suh as an education editor.

Suh has previously served as deputy editor of several sections, including Culture, Politics, the Week in Review and Styles.

After a stint at The Atlantic as senior editor, AtlanticLive, she came back to serve temporarily as acting Op-Ed editor, and then to Science.

She has edited various pieces, including features, investigations and criticism.

Suh is a graduate of Northwestern University.
