NY Daily News metro editor Ray departs

Esha Ray

New York Daily News metro editor Esha Ray has left. She joined the newspaper in 2017 as a reporter, covering crime, courts and breaking news.

Before that, she was a contributor at amNewYork. She has also reported for WCBS-TV and News 12.

She was also an associate producer at WNET New York Public Media.

Ray holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and economics from New York University.
